i actually got a couple of jale 45's on ebay last week for basically nothing, but just lucked out on a couple of really rare sloan records. jale played live here when i was in my first year of art school (so, ten years ago, almost), they were supporting velocity girl, whom i also absolutely loved. so many of those bands split up, i'm really stoked that sloan are still together. and that jay gets to sing more than a song or two per album now, eh, instead of chris and patrick hogging all the vocals
hey, do you like the flashing lights too, by the way? this may of course be a silly question, but not many people have really heard of them, they're matt murphy's post-superfriendz band. again, totally love them.
